BrightRidge offers Managed WiFi for its broadband customers. Below is a list of products we provide, making it easy to enjoy wireless internet.
To ensure optimal performance of internet access, your network devices must have the capability to support the speed of the product(s) purchased.
Do I have to lease a router from BrightRidge for this service?
You are not required to lease a wireless router for High-Speed Internet service (Fixed Wireless or Fiber Optic), however, you are required to use a BrightRidge router, in order to participate in the Managed WiFi service. This makes technical support and onsite assistance much more effective and timely. Due to the cost of the wireless router, a deposit of $50.00 may be required depending on your credit score. If you decide to discontinue broadband services with BrightRidge, the leased BrightRidge router, and power supply cords for the router and range extender, must be returned. If not returned, a $75.00 fee will be applied to your account.
Do I need to have internet service through BrightRidge to get help with my WiFi at home?
Yes, you must have one of BrightRidge internet services at your home, in order to enroll in the Managed WiFi service.
Can I cancel this support service without cancelling my internet service?
Yes, please call (423) 952-5000 to cancel your Managed WiFi service. This service is month-to-month with no contract term commitment.
